Abstract

In the article by Blumenthal et al, “2026 ACC/AHA/AACVPR/ABC/ACPM/ADA/AGS/APhA/ASPC/NLA/PCNA Guideline on the Management of Dyslipidemia: A Report of the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association Joint Committee on Clinical Practice Guidelines,” which published ahead of print on Friday, March 13, 2026, and appeared in the April 28, 2026, issue of the journal (Circulation. 2026;153:e1154–e1276. DOI: 10.1161/CIR.0000000000001423), corrections are needed. 1. On page e1156, in Take-Home Message 5, the first sentence reads, “Apolipoprotein B (ApoB) testing can be useful to improve risk assessment and guide therapy once LDL-C and non–HDL-C goals are met, particularly in those with elevated triglycerides (TG) (>200 mg/dL), diabetes, or low achieved LDL-C (<70 mg/dL).” It has been updated to read, “Apolipoprotein B (ApoB) testing can be useful to improve risk assessment and guide therapy once LDL-C and non–HDL-C goals are met, particularly in those with elevated triglycerides (TG) (≥150 mg/dL), diabetes, or low achieved LDL-C (<70 mg/dL).” 2. On page e1228, Recommendation 5 now refers to Figure 16, and Recommendation 6 now refers to Figure 17. 3. On page e1244, in the Peer Review Committee member list, “Peter Toth” has been changed to “Peter P. Toth.” 4. On page e1276, in Appendix 2, in the first column, “Peter Toth” has been changed to “Peter P. Toth.” These corrections have been made to the current online version of the article, which is available at: https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/CIR.0000000000001423.
