N2 - The effectiveness of artificial intelligence (AI) deployment in healthcare is inextricably connected to the quality of educational and training programs. Nonetheless, the landscape is riddled with cultural and organizational hurdles that stymie such endeavors, needing a holistic approach to their resolution. This discussion looks at the difficulties, such as resistance to change, insufficient collaboration, transparency flaws, resource constraints, established cultural norms, and hierarchical barriers, as well as the misalignment of incentives within healthcare and educational institutions. The discourse proposes solutions to overcome these obstacles, emphasizing the importance of cultivating an attitude of invention, teamwork, and continuous learning. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of placing healthcare AI education and training within a global and cultural context. Tailoring approaches to specific cultural, societal, and legal differences can make these programs more engaging and egalitarian, allowing for the principled and ethical deployment of AI in healthcare on a global scale. To summarize, education and training are critical in developing responsible AI solutions in healthcare, providing stakeholders with the necessary information, skills, and ethical acumen to navigate AI’s intricacies while prioritizing patient welfare and societal standards.
