N1 - Funding Information: GHME Conference Organising Committee The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, The Lancet , the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, the Harvard School of Public Health, and the University of Queensland School of Population Health invite submission of abstracts for oral or poster presentation at their conference on Global Health Metrics and Evaluation, to be held on June 17–19, 2013, in Seattle, WA, USA. A broad range of topics related to health metrics and evaluation will be covered during the conference. Abstracts can be submitted on the following topics: measuring effective coverage of interventions; health financing (National Health Accounts, financial risk protection, and costing); impact evaluations; metrics for the post-2015 era; burden of diseases and injuries; comparative risk assessment; measuring child mortality and causes of death; coping with variations in estimates in global health; measurement of comorbidities: methodological challenges; disability weights: common values in assessing health outcomes; trends in health inequalities; and new directions in cost-effectiveness analysis. For further details on the conference programme and topics, please refer to the conference website. 1 Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words in length, be written in English, and contain no references, figures, or tables. Please submit a structured abstract with the following sections: background (including context and aim), methods, findings, and interpretation (conclusions and recommendations). The document should also include a title (including a study descriptor—ie, randomised or other design), names and affiliations of all authors, the postal and email addresses of the corresponding author, a list of any funding sources (if none, please say so), and a brief summary of the contributions of each author and any conflicts of interest held. If reporting a randomised trial, please follow the CONSORT for Abstracts recommendations. Please submit abstracts online at the conference website, 1 no later than Feb 11, 2013. The peer-review process will be organised by The Lancet. Participants will be informed of the acceptance of abstracts for oral or poster presentation no later than March 28, 2013. Accepted abstracts will be published in a booklet and on The Lancet 's website.
