Abstract
This is to present our initial experience with four patients who had placement of a new inferior vena caval filter called Trapease (Johnson and Johnson, Cordis). The filter is a double basket, made up of Nitinol that is MRI compatible and having 6 French delivery system. The placement technique was found to be extremely easy with no complications up to one month follow up.
