Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To review the effects of lipid-based nutrient supplements (LNS) when given to women during pregnancy, and their impact on maternal, birth and infant outcomes. To explore the most appropriate composition, frequency and duration of LNS.
