New education policy, new curriculum and new government (5th phase): Opportunities and challenges in early childhood education in Tanzania

Abstract

This chapter translates education objectives in early childhood education as per opportunities provided by the new education policy, new curriculum and the 5th phase of the government inorder to improve teaching and learning environment in pre-primary education in Tanzania. Issues discussed in this chapter are not exhaustive of opportunities and challenges in realisation of improved teaching learning environments in early childhood education in the era of globalisation.
