Abstract

This chapter explores in depth the factors encountered by intensivists in the wake of being a focal provider of healthcare during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. During this period, a spotlight shone on the specialty, it’s resources, and the continuum of care that intensive care medicine provides.
